The first trip of the 2nd Hainan Free Trade Zone HelloSanya International Media Bloggers Exhibition Sanya was officially launched today. The 30 international online influencers from over 20 countries visited Binglanggu Hainan Li & Miao Cultural Heritage Park .
Binglanggu Hainan Li & Miao Cultural Heritage Park is a National AAAAA Tourist Attraction. Located in the tropical forest, the park is the home of the first Li and Miao people. The 30 online influencers’ Binglanggu trip covered visiting the Intangible Cultural Heritage Village, watching a Drilling Wood to Make Fire show, Betel Tree Climbing, the Charm of Li & Miao Culture Live Show, and rock climbing.
They also experienced ancient Miao tie-dye and embroidering techniques. “It is so unique. We tried different ways to dye and embroider, and it turned into different figures and patterns. We felt the charm of this unique traditional technique”, said one of the Influencers.
While watching the Betel Tree Climbing, the foreign visitors were wowed by the special performance. “They climb trees so fast! I was told that only Li men who learn to climb betel trees can get married. A man who can climb more betel trees is more likely to find love. It is so interesting and brings a sense of ceremony”, Alexey from Russia.
After watching the Charm of Li & Miao Culture Live Show, all the influencers gave the breathtaking stage art a big thumbs up. To end their trip the 30 online influencers were led to experience rock climbing and canoeing.
After the media bloggers exhibition, the organizers will exhibit the work of the 30 international online influencers taken during their trips to different places. During the photo exhibition, Sanya citizens will be able to enjoy the work of the 30 influencers and experience up close what the world will see through social media. “It will be a good way for local Sanya people to learn that Sanya is an open city and that Sanya is ready to welcome tourists from around the world”, said the organizer.
